Hi! I'm Lauren!
I am a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Visualization with a passion for all things creative. My academic journey at Texas A&M University allowed me to cultivate a passion for traditional design, specifically in the realms of 2D design like typography, branding, and experimental design, while also letting me venture outside of my comfort zone into things like experimental photography and more physical media. Through these rigorous academic pursuits, I have honed both my technical and interpersonal skills. I am well versed in many industry-level design softwares like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Procreate, etc. In addition to these software skills, I also hold a certification in Digital Marketing from the University of Texas to be able to apply these software skills in today's fast-paced digital world.
A few facts about me and my craft: My favorite font is Helvetica, I believe that cream will always be better that white, and I pull a lot of my inspiration from Art Nouveau motifs! I will also take every opportunity I can to be hands-on with my work. (It's nice to escape from the world of screens every once in a while!)
At the end of the day, what drives me is being able to create meaningful work that evokes feelings of mutuality.
