ON GARDE
MAGAZINE PROJECT
The purpose of this project was to create an interview based magazine showcasing two artists of any craft. I chose Avant-Garde fashion as my topic and chose to highlight Alexander McQueen and Thierry Mugler as my artists. I wanted my design elements to be minimal and bold so that the focus was on the work of the designers. I used line work to draw the readers eye in and create a path across each page. I wanted the magazine to have a high contrast look, hence the minimal color palette of cream and black.
This magazine was created using Adobe InDesign.
