PEIGNOT
A TYPEFACE RESEARCH PROJECT
The premise of this project was to create an informative brochure about a typeface that showcased its most notable features and backstory. I chose Peignot, which is a typeface created in the 1930s by A.M. Cassandre. I chose a muted color palette to resemble that time period and included an illustration of a woman in 1930s attire in the "O" on the cover. I used lines as my graphic element to frame text and emphasize the typeface's elongated ascenders and descenders.
